LASAR SEGALL
Every year, the Lasar Segall Museum organizes an auction of plates, painted by renomed artists, in order to raise money for itself. This year, my mother, Marina Amaral Overmeer, was invited as one of the artists. Look at her beautiful plate, baptized as "Running against time":

Hi, Carolina. I'm an old friend of your mom and dad - you might remember a Singaporean guy visiting your home in Sao Paolo many years ago. Great to see that she's still pursuing her creative interests, and so successfully too! (When I visited Sao Paolo, she was very much into handloom weaving.)
